Environmental Impact Assessment of Vectrix Electric Motorcycle
An assessment of total (direct and indirect) emissions from the Vectrix vs. other types of vehicles are included in this study. The results are reported in terms of air quality impact as well as greenhouse gas impact.

ENVIRONMENT
Replacing four- and two-wheel gas-powered vehicles with a Vectrix will significantly lower the carbon footprint, as well as relieve urban noise and congestion.
WHY?
- U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are increasing rapidly: Up 16% between 1990 to 2005*
- Two-wheel electric vehicles are 2.7 times cleaner than gas-powered motorcycles and scooters and 10 times cleaner than gas-powered cars**
- By replacing one car 70 percent of the time with a Vectrix, a household can reduce CO2 emission by five tons a year*

Includes activities without LULUCF- Land Use, Lang Use Change and Forestry (these have an offsetting factor)
** Assuming 15K miles/ year, 2 wheel Emissions for vehicles Class II and higher in Southwest Study, 4 Wheel Vehicles (except Prius) in EcoLane Study
REDUCING YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
The fastest way for each of us to reduce our carbon footprint is to change our use of vehicles- best way to do that is a vehicle that uses as little or no gasoline- as possible.
SOURCES OF CO2 EMISSIONS
100% ELECTRIC VEHICLES GENERATE LOWEST C02 OF ALL VEHICLES
The Vectrix generates zero tailpipe emission and minimum emission (35.5g) from the production of the electricity it uses during travel. This is significantly lower than any other vehicle.
